About

ArtistMaking art nearly all of his life, David received his BFA from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago in 2007 and an MFA in painting from Kent State University in 2013. David’s work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally, and is held in private and public collections. David works and lives with his wife, son, and daughter in Medford, OR.

My current work is a reference to the nature of memory and how it is absorbed into the places one inhabits, only to be recalled through key signifiers. This is true because the signifiers of a dwelling place become visual metaphors. They construct perception much like a key word or prolific stanza.
